Harper's One in a Melon...and so that's the theme we went with for her first birthday
Gram Cracker made a crown for the birthday girl. Amazingly, it remained cake free.
Everybody needs an appropriately themed outfit.
I chose my favorite picture of Harper from each month. Then I backed them on melon-colored scrapbook paper (9 1/2 by 12) and then used spray adhesive to stick em to foam board. I labeled each picture with the month it was taken.
Harper only recognized herself in the most recent photo.
Since the party was in the dead of summer, we treated ourselves with snow cones. The kids enjoyed the typical flavors, while the adults spiked ours with melon midori.
